The Bioscience Breakthrough
K18Peptide™ was patented after scanning and analysing 1,242 decapeptides that cover the entire genome of human keratin proteins. After a decade of research, we discovered one unique sequence unlocking the science to bring strands damaged from chemical services and thermal/mechanical styling back to their original, youthful state — the K18Peptide. Patented K18 is not just a temporary fix — it’s the first product to utilise biomimetics to reconnect keratin chains once broken by bleach, colour, and chemical services, resulting in soft, smooth, strong hair with bounce that feels like new. How Does K18 Work?
To answer this we have to hit you with a bit of science... so hold on for the rude.
Imagine the internal structure of hair, it looks like DNA ribbons or a series of different ladders that have been twisted to create the keratin chain.
These 'ladders' are held in place by disulphide bonds. These structures are present in the cortex, medulla, and cuticle.
When these ladders are damaged, it’s not just the singular rungs of the ladder that break, it’s the entire ladder including the connections between these multiple ladders held together by electrostatic attraction. This severely weakens the hair.
Hair repair products such as 'plexes' only focus on creating a temporary bridge between the rungs of a ladder (the ionic crosslink across the broken disulphide bonds). Unfortunately this temporary bond repair washes away with any alkaline agent such as water or shampoo. Leaving behind no mechanism to support the sides of the ladder (broken keratin chains). The hair then reverts to it's original weak and vulnerable state. This is not ideal as the only cure is to repeat the temporary and often expensive treatment at regular intervals.
Through a period of 10 years of research the keratin proteome covering 1,242 decapeptides, the team at K18 patented the first peptide that is effective at connecting the broken keratin chains.... permanently.

HOW TO USE K18 AT HOME
- Completely detangle your hair and then wash 2 times with shampoo only. DO NOT USE A CONDITIONER.
- For longer hair, take 1-2mls (1-2pumps) of Khairpep and work this through the mid lengths and ends of one side of your hair. Repeat this process on the other side of your hair with 1-2mls more. Any excess that is left on your hands and fingers you can run through the top section of your hair.

You need only use a total of 2mls (2 pumps) of K18 for your whole head. Over use is not beneficial.
You can use up to 4ml (4 pumps) for your whole head if you have very long or very thick hair. Always start by using less as 4ml is an extreme dose. - Once applied to the hair K18 will require a 4 minute activation period. During this 4 minutes you can start to detangle the hair with your fingers then move onto a wide tooth comb or brush to completely distribute and detangle your hair.
- THAT’S IT! No rinsing out and no conditioning - you can style your hair as please or leave it to dry naturally.
Although, if you are planning on blow waving and styling your hair and you want to use styling products, you can! Although, you just need to make sure you apply these products after the 4 minute activation period.
